Trip to Reno and California

The kids and I flew to Reno, NV to visit my dad for a week. We drove to Hayward, CA and went to San Fransisco and Freemont. It was an amazing trip.

The Wharf and Pier 39 in San Francisco was a sight. The sky was perfectly clear the whole time and the weather was just perfect for all of us.

The kids enjoying Lake Tahoe. The weather was wonderful and the water was cold. They didn't want to leave it.

Fanny Bridge in Tahoe City. Everyone leans over the side to watch and feed the very large fish below.

On the way back to Reno we stopped at the jelly belly factory to go on the tour. By the end we were tired of jelly beans. But it was an interesting thing to do and see.

I moved to Reno with my family when I was in 6th grade. I met my husband in high school and moved to Texas on our 1st anniversary in 1989. The kids really had fun seeing the sights.

We had fun riding in grandpa's boat on a local lake. My kids got to drive his boat on the lake. The water was so clear there.
